PACKING TERMS DEFINED:
OPTION #1: (PBO)
“PACKED BY OWNER”
This option means that a customer is going to furnish & pack all of their own boxes prior to the moving crew’s arrival on moving day. This is the most economical and frequently selected option for self-paying customers who are moving locally. Please know that we are always available to speak with you if you have questions or concerns about how to pack any item.
OPTION #2: (CP)
“CUSTOM PACKED”
This option is for customers who would like to save some money by packing a percentage of their items on their own. Usually things like clothing, linens, soft décor, paperwork, books, and personal effects. They will employ Turcotte’s professional packing team to pack the remainder. Usually things like Glass, China, lamps & shades, pictures, paintings, mirrors, and prized family heirlooms.
OPTION #3: (FCP)
“FULLY CARRIER PACKED”
This option is for customers who would prefer to have Turcotte’s professional packing team pack everything. This is the most frequently selected option for well-established customers, and those whose company or a third party is paying for their relocation expenses.
